SimTopia Screenshot Competition

How does it work?

Have you created a beautiful screenshot in your favorite simulation game? Join the monthly SimTopia Screenshot Competition!

You can submit your screenshot from the 1st until the 23rd of each month by posting it in the designated topic.

All submissions are reviewed by the team:

• Approval takes place within a maximum of 24 hours.

• Once approved, your screenshot will appear in the topic, including your username.

• If your submission is not approved, you will receive a private message explaining the reason.

You may include a short caption or story with your screenshot, but this is optional.

Voting Round

After the 23rd of the month, a poll will be created.
Members can vote for their favorite screenshot until the end of the month.

The submission with the highest number of votes wins the monthly competition.

Tie Situation

A second voting round will only be organized if multiple screenshots finish in first place with an equal number of votes.
A shared second place will not result in an additional voting round.

Annual Voting

Each monthly winner is automatically entered into the annual voting.

There is no monthly prize.
However, if your screenshot finishes in 1st place during the annual voting, you will receive a small prize.

Rules

• Voting for your own screenshot is not allowed.

• Only self-made screenshots are permitted.

• Screenshots must be created in simulation games supported by SimTopia.

• You may submit one screenshot per month. If multiple screenshots are submitted, only the first one will be accepted.

• Members of the SimTopia team may participate in the monthly competition and are eligible to win the monthly round.

• However, SimTopia team members are not eligible to win the annual competition.

  • If a team member qualifies for the annual voting based on votes, the next highest-ranked non-team member will advance to the annual voting instead.

Use of Submissions

Winning screenshots from both the monthly and annual competitions may be shared on SimTopia channels, including social media. The creator’s name will always be credited.
